Dear CAIS Families,
After numerous discussions with our Chinese faculty and feedback from our February 7 community meeting, we have developed a plan for transitioning to an emphasis on simplified Chinese characters beginning in the 2012-13 school year. I am positive that this plan is mindful of tradition while embracing the future. Above all, we are confident that it addresses the needs of our children's futures.
